One of her parents is later revealed to be the Councilor Oralie in Legacy, but no one knows who his father is, just that it is not Kenric Fanthon or Councilor Bronte (last name unknown). The Neverseen are a group of criminal extremists who believe that the Lost Cities, the home of the elves, are in dire need of major leadership and political changes. Forkle, from the human world, is the director of the Black Swan's Project Moonlark, the project in which she was created. The Black Swan are the original creators of Sophie. The main conflict in the series is between the Black Swan, a rebel organization, and the Neverseen, a group of criminal extremists. She starts school at an elvin academy named Foxfire. She is forced to leave her human family behind and stay with an elvin couple, Grady and Edaline Ruewen, who later adopt her. He discusses the reality of their world with Sophie, and that she must move to the Lost Cities, a hidden place where elves and other fantasy beings live. She is on a school field trip, until another elfish teenager, Fitz Vacker, tracks her down. She lives in San Diego, California with her human family. The series tells the story of Sophie Foster, an elfish twelve-year-old high school senior with telepathy, the ability to read minds. Keeper of the Lost Cities is an upper- middle-grade fantasy series by Shannon Messenger that has appeared on the New York Times bestseller list for a total of ten weeks. ![]()
